Overview
The cancer patient experience is unique to healthcare because patients are often informed at a high-level of their diagnosis, and there is also a strict adherence to treatment. This is paralleled only by other illnesses that affect the quality or duration of life.
The Latino cancer patient experience is distinct due to barriers to healthcare, including a propensity to late screenings, and subsequently, late-stage diagnosis.
